The Tree Woman Project

2015 - Inspired by nature and the change of seasons both in the forest and real lives, this project was born. Women of all ages were paired with trees that they felt an affinity for and beautiful portraits were created!

The Tree Woman Project was created during all seasons to also reflect the seasons of life, and how nature holds beauty in all of them. Much gratitude to each woman from my community including our child and my Mother for participating!

Arts In Nature Festival

2015 - The Tree Woman Project found a lovely opportunity to showcase the series in a cabin as part of the festival! Holli, her mother, and cousin volunteered to create foraged crowns from neighbor and friends' gardens to adorn guests. It was a very memorable and wonderful experience.
