Blossoms with High School Senior Portraits
One of the beautiful signs of Spring here in Seattle are the blossoming trees! The University of Washington Cherry Blossoms are famous, and while I adore them for a lot of reasons, it's a challenging place to do a portrait session because everyone wants to see them. Unless you can get up and on site by 7am, the chances of doing portraits without navigating happy groups of people is near impossible. And, what High School Senior wants that?
This is why I have scouted options around West Seattle where we can enjoy Spring Blossoming trees without the crowds or early hours. In some parks we have, there's one tree, and others have many! From white blossoms to pink, the variety of blooms is truly speical.
Here are just a couple of my favorites highlighting both White Blossoms and Pink - for example below.
Why Spring Senior Portraits?
One of the fun reasons why Spring Senior Portraits is so fun is because you can include your graduation gown, cap, or meaningful sashes or stoles in them. Plus, as the last part of your Senior year of High School, you're fully in Senior mode, it's more of a celebration of who you have become during your High School journey.
Bonus: if you're heading off to University or College, we can work in a more classic style headshot portrait or two! Then you get both the celebration portraits, and one that gets you started on your career journey.
